PRE-SESSION PLANNING
We help you every step of the way so you have the perfect outfit for your child(ren) and know exactly what to bring and what to expect from your session with the ducklings. We’ve been doing this for at least 18 years! We’ve got you!

PRIVATE 45 MINUTE SESSION
We will reserve a block of time just for you! A full 45 minutes. Plenty of time for your child(ren) to come in gently and get acquainted. They will meet the ducklings, get to hold one before they go swimming, and warm up all before we start photographing. No worries about running into other families. The studio area will be ready (and sterilized) just for you at your time.

IN PERSON SELECTION APPOINTMENT
We will invite you back a week after your session to view and order your portraits. We’ll help you with sizes and finishes that will be perfect for YOUR home. Social Media files for sharing are provided from all ordered images.

PRE-SESSION PLANNING: To discuss who will be photographed, the best clothing options for your child(ren), and how to prepare for your session.
FULLY GUIDEDED PROFESSONAL PHOTO SHOOT: where I will do the posing with the help of my fabulous assistant, AKA duck wrangler! I have all of the props, plus more than a dozen 3 - 4 day old ducklings, all set in an indoor pond. You won’t need to worry about a thing!
FINISHED PORTRIAITS: begin at $200 for small portraits and $600 for wall portraits. Albums, photo boxes, and wall collections are also very popular with this children’s special.
SOCIAL MEDIA FILES: are provided from all ordered images.
An in person ORDERING SESSION: where you can see all your beautiful images, and choose your favorites to display, all art-worked to perfection and printed on the highest quality materials available today - archival for 100+ years!
BOOKING DEPOSIT: $249. Includes your $149 session PLUS a $100 credit towards your portrait order.

Why Photograph with the Ducklings???
I’m Kathy Morley, a Midland, Michigan-based portrait artist. I have been a full time professional photographer and artist for over 20 years.
I LOVE photographing with live ducklings. For some reason, the portraits are like no other. They bring out an innocence in children that is hard to describe. The portraits are truly something beautiful. They capture natural expressions in gorgeous light. You will love seeing the joy, curiosity and wonder on their faces while I work to create a lasting memory as art for the walls of your home.

WHO CAN TAKE PART IN THE EXPERIENCE?
From 12 months to ten years old are the most typical ages to be photographed with the ducklings. However, I have photographed many older children who truly enjoyed the experience and who’s parents love their portraits.
Three small children at one time is the most that will fit on the dock!
If I am photographing very young children, please consider bringing a spouse, good friend or grand parent who can physically squat next to the dock to help keep the child safe.
My passion is to take every child, and capture him/her in the most beautiful way. A portrait that shows their beauty, personality and spirit.
